How it works
A critical hit does 50% more damage, plus every Critical Damage bonus you have and every Brittle on the target. The total stops at 125%; Nightblades with Above and Beyond can reach 155%. Anything over the cap is wasted.
Critical Chance starts at 10%. Most sources give rating: 21,912 rating is 100% at CP160, so about 219 rating is 1%. Your average damage from crits is 1 + chance × damage, which the What if? box uses to compare two setups.
A Major and a Minor buff of the same kind stack, but the same buff from two sources doesn’t. Medusa, Velothi Ur-Mage’s Amulet and Tzogvin’s Warband all give Minor Force, so switch on Minor Force once rather than counting the set too.
