Cookie Policy
The cookies and browser storage Psijic Pages uses, what each one is for, and how to change your choice.

Plain-English summary, not legal advice
Overview
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser; local and session storage do the same job without being sent with every request. This page lists everything Psijic Pages stores on your device. For what happens to the data afterwards, see the Privacy Policy.
We only use two kinds: storage the site needs to work, and analytics that you can turn off. There are no advertising cookies.
Your choice
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics stay off until you accept. Elsewhere, Google Analytics is on by default and you can decline in the banner; PostHog always waits for your answer.
When you decline, no analytics cookies are set and PostHog switches to a cookieless mode that stores nothing on your device. Google Consent Mode may still send Google a cookieless signal that a page was viewed, with no identifier.
You can change your mind at any time:
The same button is in the footer of every page. Declining after accepting stops new analytics data being collected; to remove cookies that were already set, clear this site's cookies in your browser.
Strictly necessary
These don't need consent. They never leave your browser and aren't used for tracking.
| Name | Set by | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| consent | Psijic Pages | Local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so the banner doesn't come back. | Until you clear site data |
| Calculator inputs | Psijic Pages | Session storage | Keeps the penetration and crit calculator setup when you reload the page. | Until the tab is closed |
Our host, Vercel, may set a short-lived security cookie if its firewall needs to check that a request comes from a real browser.
Analytics
Set only after you accept (or, outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland, until you decline Google Analytics). Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics 4; on its own it sets no cookies.
| Name | Set by | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Cookie | A random ID that tells visits from the same browser apart. | 2 years |
| _ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics | Cookie | Keeps the current session's state (session count, last visit). | 2 years |
| ph_<project-key>_posthog | PostHog | Cookie and local storage | A random ID plus session state, so PostHog can count visitors and follow a visit across pages. | 1 year |
What we don't use
- No advertising, retargeting or social media cookies (Google's ad storage is always denied).
- No login or account cookies, because there are no accounts.
- No embedded videos, comment widgets or share buttons that set their own cookies.
- Fonts and game icons are served from this site, not from third-party servers.
Browser controls
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies, and most can block analytics scripts. Blocking storage completely won't break the builds or tools, but the cookie banner may appear again on each visit. Google also offers a Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
